Recreational Programs

Recreational programs include skill support, knowledge of playing the game and the social competence and emotional regulation needed for good sportsmanship.

Playing board games, such as Candy Land, Life, and Checkers as well as numerous card games and cognitively challenging games like Apples to Apples contribute to your child’s ability in thinking, reasoning, social language and social reciprocity.

Other more contemporary recreational activities such as kick-ball, soccer, bowling, tag, yoga and base-ball all support your child’s motor development and ability to self- regulate.
